Arrives For Supper

He arrived in the evening of April 28,2013 on my front lawn for supper. After a great feed of bird seed that the sparrows knocked to the grass below (they are such messy eaters ), this rabbit wanted dessert. There was an apple to right of the bird feeders, and that is what he nibbled on.

Monarch Arrives

This butterfly probably came all the way from Mexico and landed on my front lawn today April 24, 2013 in Red Deer, Alberta Canada. The partially eaten apple is for the other animals, rabbits, Magpie, deer and so on. It appears to be a Monarch, mean while I'll check my butterfly records  of this beautiful creature...

Buttons

This is an oil painting I did for my sister-in-law of her five and a half pound little dog. He was small enough that she could take him on her carry on when flying. This of course was painted in the year 2000.This sister-in-law is my brother Henry's wife, Joyce.

Hare To Stay

This is another sign of spring...this lovely little bunny showed up on my front law this morning, April 16, 2013. He is a "resident", and loves to feed on the bird seed that the birds drop to the ground. As you can see, this rabbit is shedding his winter coat, a "make-over" if you will.

Art from Playa Del Carma, Mexico

A friend of mine went to Mexico a number of years ago and brought  these neat pictures back with him. When he moved to a smaller home, there wasn't room for him to hang them up so he gave them to me.

CKRD Radio Van

I hand lettered this CKRD radio van way back in 1979, that was the time when my sign painting experience was put to good use.The radio and TV were one company that I worked for ( 18 years ) to be exact. I really enjoyed that part of my Art career, great memories. I missed the people I worked with when retirement came, it was time to move on. Today I have an Art studio in my house where I still do all sorts of artwork for people.
