Squirrely Day
It took him all winter but the other day my resident squirrel finally figured out that there were peanuts in the wild bird mix that I use. Now we all know that a squirrel cannot resist a peanut so he found a way to get to the feeder.
St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church
This interior view of the Alter area of the world famous church designed by Architectural leader Richard Cardinal. It is fitting that this beautiful structure resides in his home town of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.

Northern Red Shafted Flicker
This delightful fellow came to visit late one Spring afternoon to see what offerings were left by the birds who feed at the elevated feeder above. Northern Flickers are ground feeders.
He hung around for quite a while so I was able to take a significant number of pictures of him. The picture shown here is the best of the bunch.
